Developer remediation
We treat waterlogged plots without excavation
Construction traffic compacts subsoil well below the finished surface. Topsoil and turf go down on top, but water can't drain through the compacted layers beneath.
The result is waterlogged gardens, failed turf, struggling trees, and a steady flow of remedial work after handover. Conventional fixes are slow, disruptive and costly.
We fracture compacted soil up to 1.5 metres deep with controlled bursts of compressed air. We then inject an enriched, biochar-based blend into the newly opened spaces to hold the structure open, prevent re-compaction and improve water and nutrient retention.
What we offer
No disruption to finished landscaping. Existing turf, planting, paths and boundaries stay in place.
Fast turnaround. Most gardens are treated within a day, including occupied plots.
Treats the cause. Tackles the cause not the symptoms, so you're not returning to the same plot next winter.
Protects retained and new trees. Can be used safely in sensitive root zones and can help save failing trees.
Supports sustainability goals. Biochar locks stable carbon into the ground for hundreds of years.
Access all areas. Fits through access points as small as 650mm, solving issues in areas that other solutions can’t.
Cost-effective. Avoiding excavation, drainage installation, reinstatement and repeat remedial visits keeps overall remediation costs down.
Saving protected trees
Heavy construction traffic and ground-level changes can severely compact the soil around retained trees, restricting the air and water their roots need.
For TPO-protected trees, serious damage or loss linked to development works can lead to enforcement, replacement requirements and significant fines.
We restore the ground conditions trees need to thrive.
