Register for the demo day

Harrogate gardens often suffer from slow draining soil due to the dense clay soil that resides underneath.

Our decompation opens up new pathways and injects long lasting materials to keep those channels open and revitalise soil health.

If you're interested in finding out more, complete the form or email us at jonny@wellgrounded.land with a few details about your ground problems.

We'll review your message and get back to you within 24 hours.

Improve your soil without excavating the garden

Well Grounded uses specialist pneumatic equipment to decompact the soil below the surface.

A narrow probe delivers controlled compressed air into the ground, opening fractures through compacted layers and creating pathways for water and oxygen. We inject carefully selected soil amendments into these pathways to help maintain pore space and support longer-term soil improvement.

The treatment is carried out across a planned grid, with minimal surface disturbance and no need to dig up the entire lawn.

By injecting 1m apart we introduce a connected, underground reservoir.

Every garden is different

Before recommending treatment, we consider the soil conditions, drainage pattern, access and history of the site. This helps us determine whether soil decompaction is appropriate and allows us to create a tailored treatment plan.

Could your garden benefit?

Our treatment may help where you are experiencing:

  • Standing water after rainfall

  • Soft, muddy or unusable lawn areas

  • Slow-draining or compacted soil

  • Weak, patchy or shallow-rooted grass

  • Problems that have continued despite reseeding or surface aeration
