Waterlogged ground?
Let’s get under the surface.
Our fast and long-lasting service fixes the root cause of boggy ground, allowing water, air and nutrients to move freely.
No digging, trenching, or torn-up turf.
The problem is compacted soil
If your lawn regularly suffers from standing water or bare patches, the issue is often not the amount of rainfall - it's the condition of the soil underneath.
Healthy soil is full of tiny air pockets that allow water to drain, oxygen to reach the roots, and soil biology thrive. However. poor soil composition, repeated foot traffic and use of machinery, gradually crush those pockets shut, which means that water simply has nowhere to go.
This results in:
Poor drainage and persistent waterlogging
Muddy, unusable surfaces after rainfall
Shallow, weakened root systems
Reduced turf health and resilience
Lost use of gardens, sports facilities and green spaces
A fast and effective solution backed by science and delivered by German technology.
Using the VOGT Geo Injector - a non-invasive, air-based soil restoration system - we deliver controlled compressed air up to 1.5 metres deep, gently fracturing compacted layers underground. This reopens pore spaces so water and oxygen can move freely again, while the surface stays completely intact.
Once decompacted, we inject an enriched blend of materials into the newly created voids, stabilising the space, preventing re-compaction, and introducing long-term structural and biological support. The result isn't a temporary fix - it's a reset of the soil's internal architecture.
We tailor the blend for the problem and location. In many instances we use biochar - a carbon-rich organic material with the ability to lock away stable carbon for hundreds of years, helping reduce atmospheric CO2.
Step 1 - Decompress Soil
With minimal surface disruption, we drill down to 1.5m while injecting compressed air, decompacting even dense silt and clay and reintroducing air pockets into the soil.
Step 2 - Inject Materials
We inject a blend of nutrient-rich, long-lasting materials into the newly opened channels, back-filling to surface level so water and air can pass through freely.
Step 3 - The Outcome
During rainfall, water absorbs deeper into the newly created reservoir, reducing standing water and the soil and turf damage caused by saturated, anaerobic conditions.
Step 4 - Soil Recovers
Roots and microbes now have the nutrient-rich, airy space they need to thrive. In dry periods, stored water slowly releases back to support their health.

Common Questions
-
Waterlogging is usually caused by compacted soil rather than rainfall levels. Dense soil types, such as clay or silt and compacted substrates from machinery or foot traffic cannot drain properly through the ground.
-
Common signs include standing water, spongy or muddy surfaces, poor grass growth or excessive mosses, shallow roots, and areas that remain wet long after rainfall or struggle to take root in the summer months.
-
No. The process is non-invasive, meaning there is no excavation, trenching, or removal of turf. The machine leaves a small, one-inch hole that is backfilled with the injected material.
-
The surface remains almost completely intact with just small entry holes that naturally cover very quickly. The system works underground using air and targeted injection.
-
We use the VOGT Geo Injector - a German-engineered non-invasive soil restoration system that uses compressed air to break up compacted soil layers underground; then fills those fissures with specially blended materials, aid drainage, water retention and increase biodiversity.
-
Standing water dissipates immediately. Improved drainage and surface conditions can be seen shortly after treatment, with further improvements developing as the soil biology recovers.
-
It is a long-term soil restoration method, but future compaction can still occur depending on usage. Maintenance may be recommended over time.
-
Our system is fast and effective. It avoids disruption, preserves existing landscapes, and targets the underlying cause of waterlogging rather than just the symptoms.
The materials we inject into the newly opened spaces, help to ensure that the spaces stay open and soil retains water and nutrients, and to long-term soil health.

This depends on the size and condition of the site, but most residential and smaller sports surfaces can usually be treated within a day or two.
