Revitalise struggling trees and reduce root damage on greens
When the ground surrounding trees is heavily trafficked or consists of poorly draining soil, several common symptoms may appear. These include exposed surface roots, sparse grass that struggles to establish even under favourable growing conditions, and prolonged water logging during wetter months.
When the soil beneath the canopy lacks oxygen, tree roots extend into nearby areas in search of more favourable conditions and available nutrients. This is commonly seen around golf greens, where roots can spread into the root zone to access water and fertiliser. This competition can weaken the turf and contribute to thin or bare patches of grass.
